We are pleased to announce and invite you to the 31th Annual YWCA Women of Distinction dinner on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Julia’s Banquet Center in East Alton.

 

Each year the YWCA Women of Distinction Award is presented to a select group of women with extraordinary accomplishments through career success, community service, leadership, mentoring, and dedication to YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. With over 300 recipients of this award, the Women of Distinction Academy is comprised of the most accomplished women in Madison and Jersey County.

 

The spectacular event honors the Women of Distinction with an award and special evening, acknowledging their accomplishments in the community and their commitment to the YWCA mission — empowering women, eliminating racism and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We will also recognize the Josephine Marley Beckwith Future Leaders Scholarship winners toast their future successes.

 

This event hosts around 300 people including current honorees and members of the prestigious Women of Distinction Academy. The event is an opportunity for guests and sponsors alike to connect with the leaders of our community.

 

This signature event raises critical financial support for life-changing programs serving the community.
